Business Manager / Nails & Aesthetics - Meghan Tanguay
Meghan made the decision to leave the oilfield to pursue a career in the beauty industry, joining the Tangles team in 2015. Following the retirement of her mom and salon owner Brenda in 2019, Meghan stepped into the role of over seeing the salon's day to day operations. Alongside managing the business, she continues to offer esthetic services and is a certified gel nail technician.
When Meghan's not at the salon, you can often find her enjoying quality time with her family doing things such as camping, boating, snowboarding, sledding, etc. She also has a strong passions for fitness and overall health, which reflects her balanced and energetic approach in and out of the salon.
Master Stylist / Stylist Manager - Danielle Mears
Danielle is a talented journeymen stylist who specializes in dimensional color and hidden bead weft extensions, and is proud to serve a large, loyal clientele throughout the Lakeland area. She has been part of the Tangles team since September 2015 and is always investing in advanced education to continue growing her skills and elevating her craft.
When she's not behind the chair, Danielle enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their 4 extra large dogs, and catching up with friends and family - while eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby boy!
Junior Stylist - Georgia Bendixen
Georgia is a junior stylist at Tangles who joined our team in May of 2022. She is incredibly driven, passionate, and committed to becoming the best stylist she can be. Georgia truly shines when it comes to blonding services and is know for creating bright, beautiful and customized blonde results. Her natural talent and strong work ethic have allowed her to grow quickly in the industry, and her future behind the chair is exceptionally bright. Georgia is nearing the completion of her apprenticeship and is well on her way to becoming a journeyman stylist - an exciting milestone for both her and our team!
Outside of the salon, you'll find Georgia helping out her family on the farm, horseback riding, or enjoying a round of golf with her boyfriend!
Apprentice Stylist - Kandra Hayter
*Currently On Maternity Leave*
Kandra is our newest stylist that recently graduated from Portage College in Lac La Biche! Kandra is eager to learn and start her career!
During her free time, Kandra enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dog Benji, as well as reading and connecting with friends and family. Kandra is currently on Maternity leave and is soaking up every special moment with their new baby boy!
When she returns from Maternity leave, Kandra will be accepting men and women's cuts, as well as single process colors. Book in with and receive 15% off your services
Master Stylist - Alana Paulo-Marcinkowski
Alana is a fully certified Journeyman with over a decade of experience in the industry, beginning her career in 2014! She has a true passion for all things color and is known for creating beautiful, customized looks for her guests. When she's not working her magic with color, Alana loves showcasing her barbering skills and delivering sharp, detailed cuts.
When she's not behind the chair, you'll find Alana spending time with her husband and 2 babies or embracing her creative side in ballet 🩰- bringing the same energy, precision and joy to everything she does!
Owner of Tangles - Brenda Brouwer has taken a step back from the chair and moved into retirement in December 2019, although she is not actively working in the salon, she still maintains a vital role as trusted advisor and salon owner.
