Meet Our Team
Business Manager / Nails & Aesthetics - Meghan Tanguay, decided that the oilfield was no longer for her and started her new career at Tangles in 2015. Since Brenda's retirement in 2019 Meghan has taken over the day to day management of the business as well as providing extra services in the salon. Meghan is a certified Nail technician and has training in other Aesthetics.
Master Stylist / Stylist Manager - Danielle Mears is a gifted Journeyman hairstylist specializing in dimensional color and is in great demand maintaining a massive clientele in the Lakeland area. Danielle has been with Tangles since late 2015 and is always striving to become a better stylist with additional advanced education!
During her free time you can find her hanging out with her boyfriend and 4 extra large dogs, or friends and family!
Junior Stylist - Georgia Bendixen started with us in May of 2022, she is incredibly driven to become the best stylist she can be and her natural talent in the trade is sure to get her there fast. Georgia comes to us from the small town of Heinsburg, Alberta. We are excited to announce that she's almost done her apprenticeship and well on her way to being journeyman!
​During her free time you can catch her helping out on her parents farm or horseback riding!
Apprentice Stylist - Kandra Hayter is our newest stylist that recently graduated from Portage College in Lac La Biche! Kandra is eager to learn and start her career!
During her free time you can find Kandra hanging our with her dog Benji, reading, and hanging out with friends and family!
She is accepting men and women's cuts, as well as single process colors. Book in with and receive 15% off your services
Senior Stylist - Alana Paulo-Marcinkowski is a Journeyman Hairstylist and has been in the industry since 2014! She loves everything color, but when she's not doing color, you can catch her showing off her barbering skills!
When shes not behind the chair, you can find her having family time or in a ballet class🩰
Owner of Tangles - Brenda Brouwer has taken a step back from the chair and moved into retirement in December 2019, although she is not actively working in the salon, she still maintains a vital role as trusted advisor and salon owner.
